4/3/12 GDE Haul!!!

Hello, all!!!!

I recently ordered some new Glamour Doll Eyes shadows while Vee, the creator, was having the March Madness sale.
I ordered FrankenGlamour, Dusk, Bruised!, Sex Appeal, Just Dance!, and Urban Trash. The shipping was not as fast as usual, but I'm sure she had quite a few orders coming in and going out during the sale. I think it took about a week to get to me.....I don't remember really. I've had them for about a week and a half and I'm very impressed with all of them.....even Urban Trash which is a completely matte black.


The following are swatches of the colors:
The top row is a dry swatch and the bottom row is swatched over LA Splash Eyeshadow Base/Sealer.

FrankenGlamour - lime green with golden yellow shimmer
Bruised! - silvery purple with blue glitter
Sex Appeal - shimmery teal

Just Dance! - purple with silver shimmer
Dusk - shimmery light navy
Urban Trash - matte black


I purchased the full size jars with no sifters. Full sized jars with are $6.00 and sample baggies are $1.50. You can also purchase sample jars, but I'm not sure how much they are off the top of my head and the website is down until April 7th I believe.

FOTD 2/29/12 Leap Year Frolicking

Hello everyone!!!!
Happ Leap Day...Year...whatever...BAHAHA. One of my very best friends who lives in Sweden is celebrating her 20th birthday today. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARIA!!!

So basically I just went to class today... Nothing too special, but it is 68 degrees in the good old Midewest today sooo I went for something a little more bold and bright. Enjoy!!

I just want to quickly address something I witnessed today that thoroughly pissed me off...

Today while I was waiting for my English Comp class to start, I was just minding my own business when a girl I went to high school with walks in wearing a ruffled blue dress and a white jacket. I was thinking in my head, "Man, she looks really cute!!!" Just as that thought finishes in my noggin... I look up to see/hear these two girls saying she looks like a "slut" and a "whore." Now it would be one thing if she actually did look like one,, but no...she didn't. The girls saying these hateful things are girls that out absolutely no effort into their appearance whatsoever. They tend to have pony tails and sweatpants and naked faces. I am ok with people dressing like that and looking like that, but they along with everyone else, have no right to talk about anyone the way they talked about that girl.

Aqua and Lime Spring Nails

I just painted my nails!!! And from the looks of it, I'm ready for spring!!!!

I used Revlon Post Trauma Nail Treatment as a base coat to fill in any ridges, help keep my polish on longer and prevent staining.

Then I put down two coats of China Glaze For Audrey nail polish. I really love the color of this polish, but it can be a bit streaky. You def need two coats with this one.

On the ring finger of my left hand and the pointer finger of my right hand, I have Coastal Scents Lime Glitter powder. I used a random clear top coat, then dipped my nail into the pot of glitter. 

I sealed the glitter and the rest of my manicure with my top coat of choice, Seche Vite. I absolutely adore this top coat. It dries my nails instantly, creates an incredible shine and keeps chips away longer than other top coats.

I really love these colors together whether they are on my nails, or eyes, or my hair. ;)
